Building instructions
Make your own valet stand from black water pipes
The valet stand made from pipes is simple and also suitable for small bedrooms.
Step 1: Get the DIY components you need for the valet stand made from water pipes. Make sure the pipes are of high quality to prevent them from scratching or bending easily.
Step 2: Prepare all the DIY components for your valet stand.
In any DIY, it can help to get an overview of the individual parts first. First lay out the coated water pipes and malleable cast iron fittings. This way, you can see whether you have all the parts you need to hand and recognize the shape that your DIY valet stand made of pipes should have.
Step 3: Build the lower part of the valet stand yourself
These 25cm malleable cast iron pipes are then both at a 90° angle to the first 70cm pipe. Now screw 1X malleable cast iron T-piece connector to each of the free ends of the 25 cm black malleable cast iron tubes.
The base for your valet stand made of pipes has been built.
Step 4: Building the rear part for the valet stand DIY
The valet stand base is now complete, now the upper bars need to be assembled.
Step 4.2: To connect the long rods, screw a new black malleable cast iron pipe 70cm to both ends 90° malleable cast iron fitting black connector . The long rods (the 2 connected 93cm & 70cm pipes) are screwed into the two free openings of the connectors just screwed in. Now you have finished the rear part of the men's valet stand made of tubes!
Step 5: the smaller, front part
The front, shorter part is still missing for the finished DIY valet stand. To do this, you need to repeat step 4.2 from the rear part, except that the vertical pipes are now not 2 interconnected water pipes, but a single 93 cm malleable cast iron water pipe.
Your DIY pipe valet stand is almost finished! To connect the upper part and the lower part, you need 4X the malleable cast iron adapter. This consists of 3 parts and can be unscrewed.
First put part B over the thread of the vertical, long rod. Then screw the threaded part C onto the free thread of the 93 cm water pipe. Part A of the adapter must be screwed onto the free thread of the foot. Now part B can be screwed downwards so that the adapter is screwed tight and holds. In this way you can connect all 4 pipes of the upper part to the foot.

To ensure that your valet stand stands securely and does not scratch your floor, we recommend that you stickanti-slip pads to the underside of the feet that touch the floor.
